"We believe in the continued growth, globally, for softball at all levels, and appreciate the international inclusion of Babe Ruth Softball."
Babe Ruth, celebrating its 35th season in 2019, has welcomed international competition in the last few years, with the goal of establishing an international market in youth softball. Babe Ruth Softball is offered throughout the United States and Canada. Local leagues are independent within the guidelines provided by Babe Ruth League, Inc. and operate with simplicity and autonomy.
"Babe Ruth League is proud to partner with National Pro Fastpitch to broaden exposure and promote the positive aspects of the game of softball," stated Steven Tellefsen, President/CEO of Babe Ruth League, Inc. "To have two of the best teams in the world help us celebrate the history of Babe Ruth Softball is incredible. I am confident that interaction with the NPF athletes will provide inspiration to our young participants, and the Beach Blast Series will be an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance."
